In mid-September, Nowy Sącz will become the capital of organ music. An exceptional artistic and educational event lies ahead – the 1st Organ Improvisation Courses. The program features not only intensive workshops for participants, but also a series of public concerts and lectures performed by outstanding virtuosos from Poland, France and Germany.

Three exceptional instruments – located at the SOKÓŁ Malopolska Culture Centre, St. Casimir's Church, and the Church of the Holy Spirit – create a unique sonic map for the 1st Organ Music Interpretation Courses.

In this first edition, participants will work with prominent organists and improvisers, renowned for their artistic and educational work.

The 1st Organ Improvisation Courses in Nowy Sącz (Poland) will take place from September 14th to 18th, 2026. The event is organized by the SOKÓŁ Malopolska Culture Centre and the Holy Spirit Parish. The aim of the Courses is to develop organ improvisation skills, popularize organ music, and create a space for exchanging experiences among professionals and enthusiasts of liturgical and organ music.
