In mid-September, Nowy Sącz will become the capital of organ music. An exceptional artistic and educational event lies ahead – the 1st Organ Improvisation Courses. The program features not only intensive workshops for participants, but also a series of public concerts and lectures performed by outstanding virtuosos from Poland, France and Germany.
This is a remarkable opportunity to hear the historical and contemporary instruments of Nowy Sącz churches come alive under the fingers of master improvisers. The festival combines international teaching experience with the presentation of diverse musical traditions. A special highlight of the program will be the final concert, featuring both the instructors and the most talented participants of the courses' first edition.
