The 1st Organ Improvisation Courses in Nowy Sącz (Poland) will take place from September 14th to 18th, 2026. The event is organized by the SOKÓŁ Malopolska Culture Centre and the Holy Spirit Parish. The aim of the Courses is to develop organ improvisation skills, popularize organ music, and create a space for exchanging experiences among professionals and enthusiasts of liturgical and organ music.
Applications are open until August 10th 2026
We welcome adults: passionate amateur organists, students of diocesan training centers, as well as students and graduates of Polish and foreign art universities. The event will provide a unique opportunity to upgrade qualifications, integrate the community of church musicians, and promote the musical culture of the region.The courses will also serve to promote and popularize the organ instruments located in the auditorium/cinema hall of the SOKÓŁ Małopolska Culture Centre, St. Casimir's Church, and the Church of the Holy Spirit, showcasing their tonal qualities and significance for the musical heritage of the Sącz region.
